Q: How do I place an order?

Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes, we deliver to Nashville, Franklin, Spring Hill, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Columbia, and many other areas surrounding Middle Tennessee.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity for delivery?
A: 1 pallet
Q: How long will it take to get my sod?
Q: How many square feet does a pallet of sod cover?
A: Fescue and Bermuda is 500 SF per Pallet. Zoysia is 450 SF per pallet

A: Yes, in addition to sod delivery, the Sod Source team can also install your new sod. Get in touch today for a quote!
Q: Can you put sod on top of grass?
A: No you cannot. The existing grass/weeds needs to be completely removed and the ground needs to be prepped before installing sod.
Q: Is sod real grass?
A: Yes, sod is real grass. It is a piece of turf that has been cut from the ground and rolled up. Sod is a good way to get a new lawn quickly and easily.
Q: What type of grass is sod?
A: Sod can be made from a variety of grasses, including Bermuda grass, zoysia grass, and fescue grass. The type of grass that is best for you will depend on how much sun your lawn gets and the amount of foot traffic it will receive. Q: What is the best time to sod grass?
A: The best time to sod grass is in the spring or fall. These are the times of year when the weather is cool and moist, which will help the sod to establish itself.
Q: How do I prep my yard for sod grass?
A: Before you install sod, you need to prepare your yard by removing weeds, debris, and rocks. You also need to loosen the soil to a depth of at least 6 inches.
Q: Will sod blend in with existing grass?
A: If the existing grass is the same type of grass as the sod, then it will blend in perfectly. However, if the existing grass is a different type of grass, then the sod may be a different color or texture.
Q: How long after installing sod can you walk on it?
A: You should stay off the new sod for about 2 weeks and don’t disturb the new root process.
